Weep hole on the fuel pump? What does it indicate?

Post by todds112 »

Took out the fuel pump and noticed it looks like the fuel pump and been leaking out of the weep hole for some time. There is a large build up of greasy black debris all around the hole, the side of the pump and on the engine case.

Does this mean the fuel pump needs completely rebuilt or is there a seal that's bad?

It is from a plugged return hole in the plastic spacer or caused by crank case pressure(blow by)
