I'M AT WORK(800 MILES FROM HOME) BUT MY ADULT SON HAS BEEN WORKING ON OUR PINZ. I GOT A CALL FROM THIS AM.
HE HAD REPLACED REAR MAIN SEAL , AND REAR COVER GASKET TO CORRECT LEAK.
ALL WENT WELL AND GOT IT BACK TOGETHER LATE LAST AND IT STARTED UP HE DROVE TO CORNER AND OIL PRESSURE LIGHT CAME ON. RETURNED HOME COASTING MOST OF THE WAY. CHECKED SENDING UNIT ( OK); USED MANUAL GAUGE TO CHECK PRESSURE. (NONE, SLIGHT FLICKER OF GAUGE).
DID NOT TOUCH ANYTHING AS FAR AS THE OIL PUMP.
ANY THOUGHTS OR IDEAS WHAT IT MIGHT BE , ANYONE ELSE RUN INTO THIS PROBLEM???? I WAS SUPPOSE TO POST THIS EARLIER TODAY BUT HAD A VERY BUSY DAY AND THIS WAS FIRST CHANCE I HAD.
ANY INFO WOULD BE APPRECIATED.
