Jack Stand Placement
I need to take off my breaks all of them at once and have to lift the 712 Pinz. I have 4 jack stands and want to know where to place the rear ones so that the 4 rear wheels will stay off of the ground. I would rather not have to buy 2 more jack stands but will if that is best. Thanks in advance.
Keep Smiling

Just put two jack stands under either the rear or centre axle tubes as per you would on the front (and the other two under the front of course)
Providing the check-straps are in good condition the rear suspension will adapt...that is if you put the jacks under the rear axles they will fully compress up against the bump stops and the levelling suspension will push the centre axles down till the check straps take the load.
The same system applies if you put the stands under the centre axles but I would use the rear to limit unsupported overhang.
You will of course have to compensate for the suspension travel height by increasing the height of the jack stands substantially otherwise the tyres on the unsupported axles will remain on the ground.
Have fun with the Brakes!
