Congrats Todd!

Post by jacksonpinz »

Congrats on the conviction. Sorry to put you on the spot, but for those of you who do not know, Todd is a deputy sherriff in Jackson and was injured this winter by an intoxicated patron at one of our bars. Todd has not been able to be on patrol since due to a blown knee from the incident. The individual was convicted of felony interference of a peace officer.

In many ways the situation is a sad one. This individual deserved what he got in my opinion, but he is a young man who is now a convicted felon. He claims he remembers nothing from that night. Also, Jackson lost a good officer for over 6 months and counting. I guess no one really wins in this situation, but maybe this will make people think twice before acting like fools and attacking a deputy in the future.

Jackson looks forward to having you back on patrol as soon as possible Todd!
If you are lucky enough to own a Pinzgauer, then you are lucky enough!

I made the front page again!

John, thanks for the kind words. I look forward to serving the community again! At least more than answering the phones in Dispatch. Not to say that's not a noble calling as well. I'm just more than ready to be outside again.

I love the place you're living. I stayed there for 3 days while visiting Yellowstone. The Central place with the arches made out of antlers and I think there is also a Bar which has coins embedded in the bar top (if my memory serves me well). What a nice area to be driving a Pinzgauer.
On the other hand I shouldn't complain, driving thru Paris or in the Swiss Alps or on the French Mediteranean is not bad neither. And to top all of that we have that huge sandy area in Northern Africa that we can easily get to by ferry boat.
But in order not to kill the thread, I agree 100 % with

.... and unfortunately this applies to many different situations as well

Best regards,

Jacques,

I would love to drive through Europe in a Pinz! All those cultures within a days drive of one another!

Can't complain about the scenery here though. When I get the Pinz up in the mountains I wonder if she think she's back home in the Alps.
