Espar

Post by Doug »

Guys

I have a Espar 1B1LC heater. The heater works good, however when the
Pinz in not on absolute level spot the heater shuts down. Light stays
green. I do hear the the clicking sound for a while (fuel pump ?).

I was a little reluctant to start tearing apart the heater. Any
suggestions would be appreciated.

Use the small capillary pickup tube. I noticed and confirmed with Dennis that the large tube works most of the time but can lead to fuel not being sucked properly. I think the capillary tube is so small the fuel pump doesn't struggle with the larger volume. Also watch the orientation of the pump. It needs to be within the specs for the angle.

Where would one go about acquiring a small capillary tube. Would Dennis have such an item?
