I agree. I doubt the trailer is rated for that load, since those are only 6-lug axles, and you
far exceeded the towing and gross vehicle weight rating of the SRT-8:

Especially considering you were only doing 45mph on back roads, I think you should have hauled the Chrysler back home on the trailer, towed by the Mog. I sincerely hope you at least installed a brake controller for the trailer brakes. I understand that you thought you were being safe since you were doing everything you could to be safe, but the fact remains that what you did
was not safe. I'm glad you made it home in once piece and didn't kill anyone in the process. But please, for the sake of everyone else who uses public roads, don't ever do this again!
