Support Your Pinz

Post by IwanaPinz »

I will be getting new tires soon and at the same time I will be getting the wheels painted too. My question is to all those who have put their Pinzgauer up on blocks.
I am up for suggestions as to the best way to support your 712 while it is wheel less.

Thanks

six jack stands placed at the axle half couplings. Truck is very solid and you can even remove and clean all the brake components while waiting for tires and rims.

Thanks Mike,
Just a clarification, how tall are your jack stands?

I picked up the 6 ton stands from harbor freight. They are approx 12" at the shortest and 20" or so when extended.
