hi can somebody give me some tips on valve adjustment what is the proper clearance ? thank you

i looked in the book and i have done this before but cant find the page that tells me what to set the valves at how often do you guys adjust your valves? in the pinz

.2mm or .0078" for all valves (adjust cold) :roll:

Pistons in cylinders 2 and 3 are at TDC at the same time, and so are pistons 1 and 4. Determine which cylinder is at the end of the exhaust stroke and set those two valves.

my feeler guage doesent have 2mm or.0078 i dont get it could it be
.007/.178 mm
or .008/.203 mm
or .009/229 mm sorry if this is confusing :lol:

Norcal, go with the .008/.203 mm feeler and you'll be good to go. Use the feeler to do the adjustment and recheck the gap after tightening down the nuts, as they may get off while you tighten them. Check them again after a couple runs.
