(THIS IS AL - DOES HE LOOK LIKE HE"S HAVING FUN) and that's what's left of the mirror....
We went scouting for moose in an area that is just spectacular. The road/4 wheeler/goat/horse trail goes to an abondoned mine. The maps we had were very old, but we GPS it and we found the trail head. It is so overgrown even 4 wheelers don't go there anymore, but the PINZ, well all I can say is they can have their 4 wheelers.
A good winch and a pullpal and your good to go and you will stay dry too. Lost a mirror though busting bush even when I had it facing the front window, but a branch caught it a pulled her around to the side window and poof she was shattered. So we stopped and took of the drivers side one and put her away until we hit the highway again.
The willows were so overgrown and huge - 1-1/4" some of them so we bulldozed our way in. There was only enough room to keep one track on the road and the other in the bush period. By the time we got up to the mine my Pinz was camoflaged in yellow, orange and green leaves
Again the pull pal came to the rescue
We have had an extremely wet summer hence my webbed feet. This has made the back country very difficult to get to. What we went through stuff that no normal 4x4 would have made it - they are just too wide and there wheelbases are too long and they don't have DIFF LOCK BABY
AL the fella with me was just amazed at the pinz's ability. This is truely and amazing vehicle and you add a good winch and bumper and the pullpal and you are set. We had to cross this bridge with the wrotten wood everywhere, but with al's guidance and my going slow and shittin' bricks one tire on the outter most board where there was steel under it and the other on the steel in the middle of the bridge I got her across. I decided to take to the creek on the way back.

We had walked down the old cat trail and it was overgrown real bad, but the moose rubbings were plenty and lots of fresh beds. We walked for abouit 1.5 miles and on our way back we started hearing bells and I though some outfitters horse had got loose, but it ended up being two german hikers. We talked for a bit and they were headed way in to camp and take photo's.
They had left some branches in the pinz door handle to let us know they had been by us. They brought a subaru in a ways, but the branches just scratched the s$$t out of it so they stopped and decided to hike the rest of the way in.

We would still be there without the pullpal though. We had to winch coming up the hill out of the creek. The bogg is so soft with all the rain we were at the tops of the tires all the way up the hill. Finally we got stopped and dug down.
Out with the anchor and she did her job once again. Now we were way in the back country and we are coming back on this overgrown trail (NASTY) is the only way to describe it.
I wish I could get the creek xsing video in here but it's too big for the photobucket. She was like a bulldoser pushing the trees over and then we dove into the creek and bounced over some HUGE BOULDERS and across we came
Anyway - I bent one of the aluminum mud flaps in the front and tore off a mirror but that was it...oh and of course I scraped off some paint, but that's why I bought it.
