So anyone interested in swapping pinz for 66 tbird?

Post by audiocontr »

Just in case someone is in the market...

I'm thinking about another pinz, which would put me several vehicles over my acceptable limit.

3 years ago i purchased a beautiful green 66 thunderbird convertible with about 65k miles on it. I drove it possibly 3 times this season and figure its time to let it go.

Completely redone underside from last winter - new brake lines, brakes, suspension, gas tank, axle seals, barrings, and rear gears.

Went through the engine and swapped out the oil jets, new timing belt, water pump, gaskets, master cyl, radiator, rockers... possibly more, cant remember what else i did.

Transmission completely rebuilt

Repainted the hood and trunk plus one of the doors. Matched very well.

Its starting to bubble in one fender and drivers door bottom. Will need the front headlamp surround touched up at the same time but thats the only thing. Was giving thought to doing it this winter but probably wont if I'm going to sell it.

I have around 20-22k into it. Would like to trade it for $15k value.
