A/C is engine driven, unit is a Redot 6100 24V. In 2nd tool box I keep a pair of yellow optimas charged off a solar panel, they run the winch and some x-tra items. If I drain two yellows,I'm stuck and time to camp! The winch is 12v Harbor Freight, say what you will,I have 2 of them and they kick a$$!

That "other" rig is, as my wife puts it,is my Sweedish girlfriend!
It's a 75 Volvo TGB1317 6x6. There is quite a bit of difference the way each of the 6x's drive. Personally,I prefer the handling character of the Volvo with the straight axles over the Pinz. Oh god! I have crossed the line! Incomming!!
Things have slowed down a bit with the "new" baby! I will post pics of my progress after a required family break.....
As of now,I have 3-45watt solar panels on the roof, dual alternators,70A ea 12/24V,3-optima marine batteries to supply the inverter to run the m-vave, and the future Engle refrig, led lighting for the interior,10 gal fresh water tank, and oh yea,my personal must have,A/C ( both in the box and the cab)!
Roughing it is for the Grizzly Adams types, personally,my life would be better if I would add a porta-pott for the wife.....
