Very well could be, it had a plow on it prior to my ownership. Maybe for lights.....

I've twice had a single battery die, dead. While parked. They were paired batteries. One would trip the charger every time I tried to charge it. I never tapped 12v from one battery, as the truck came with a 24/12 converter. I added an equalizer, and it happened the second time even with it. I took to periodically charging up each battery separately, a few times a year. I'm trying one of those Solargizers, so we'll see in the future.

Good to know, I was going to think about an equalizer, but maybe not....

I have installed an equalizer. No issues, one of the best adds to the pinz I have done...besides the winch, bumper, tinted glass, different seats, and other things too numerous to mention. Do it right and there are no issues. I took out the 24/12 converter, it's sitting in my shop gathering dust.
