New catagory for the Real4X4 Forum - need opinions

Is there strong enough demand for a new folder on the forum for videos? I was thinking that links to YouTube clips etc could be placed there. I asked Vince what he thought and he wants to see what y'all think.

Do we need this or is it not worth the effort?

Opinions on the subject would be appreciated.

Nah, general chats is good enough.... Vid links should be within the section it applies to.... so adding a section would be confusing and go 'off topic' like any other section does now.

I was going to chime in and say that I think the General Chat is an appropriate place for such postings. Then I read Dave's post and also agree with his comment about the off-topic concerns. I vote "no" to adding a youtube category.

I think these guys make a good point about keeping content in an area where it deals with subject matter. General videos to general chat, topics to topic folders so they can be found later.

Sounds like there's no need or interest in it's own folder.

I like the idea of an additional video category. There are so many Pinz owners out there with video cameras these days after all.
I also like the idea of a "commercial" category since there are lots of businesses these days which operate with or for Pinzgauers.
