Spark plug tool

Post by berger »

Since I did not get the pinz tool kit with my truck (I did get the chains!), is there a home made solution to getting at the spark plugs, or do I need the Pinz plug tool?

No, nothing special at all. Spark plug socket (13/16"), 6" minimum extension and a ratchet or "T" handle will do it. Don't forget to have some high temp (copper) anti-seize on hand and use it sparingly. (all assuming civilian ignition, I don't have experience with the shielded military set-up)
