Plug for spotlight
A co-worker gave me a hand held 24 volt spotlight I want to use in my Pinz. The problem is it has the wrong plug. Does anyone here know where I can get a plug that will fit into the socket on the lower left hand side of the dash? I believe this socket was intended for a convoy becon/light. Thanks.

Re: Plug for spotlight
I know...reviving an old thread again...
In my quest to use the DIN plug beside the console for a GPS and phone charger, I found a 24v to 12v, 10A reducer. I am just looking for existing options out there where I don't have to strip and create a cable to fit the adapter SAV (SAV1065) sells. The red plastic bit can be removed for use in the smaller EURO DIN plug, or leave it in place for a standard cigarette plug. I have found it online for less than advertised in the link below.
What do you guys think?

Re: Plug for spotlight
In case anyone is interested, I got the 24v-12v converter in the picture above and installed it successfully in my Pinz. I ran my GPS off of it today without issues. I also plan on running my iPhone off of it. One thing to note, the smaller DIN connection on the plug doesn't insert as tightly as I expected, so I had to pry out the little metal prongs so that they grip the plug better. I hope to make this even tighter. Anyway, simple way to get 12V out of 24V without playing with wires and converters.

Hi,
Where did you wind up buying it from? I'd like to get one.

I ended up getting it from ebay.co.uk. It cost about $45 to my door. They seem readily available in the UK....Let me look around.
