So I got underneath her and found that all the nuts were loose on the exhast manifold and omne bolt was actually gone.

So I fixed that and then my buddy showed up and we pulled the plugs and did the compression test.

1 - 140
2 - 130
3 - 140
4 - 130

The plugs were BLACK though......then we did the spark test and they were all good.

So we turned the screws in and backed them out 2.5 turns (I now know they are out too much - too rich - after reading the above post) and she is running better but idling REAL FAST.

Anyway I am going to run it for a few days (until my oil filter shows up - never have anything in this town it seems)....then I will change the oil and put 30 weight in it to replace the 5w-30 I had in the winter.

So that's where I am at.
