Interesting looking vehicle, lucky it isn't closer..... but my last acquisition counts as 6 Pinzes (or 16 Haffies) by weight
.
I got a little bit of light reading to do for the next couple days... the MTV manual set came today, all 15668 pages of it

I keep wondering if the middle wheels can rotate if they come in contact with an obstacle.
edit:
Found the answer to my question about 3 min 15 sec in.

Re: Fun looking 4x4
yes they can. The poor thing weighs in at 7700#'s top speed of 45 mph from the hercules straight six. Not too many in the US but one sitting in my backyard waiting for me to get around to some minor body work. No where as nimble as the pinz. The drive system is the "unique" part of the truck. It uses what DAF calls an H-drive. It actually has drive (gear) boxes at each wheel with no central drive shaft. It is fully independent suspension. All wheels are on a torsion type of suspension system.
Cool truck but makes the pinz seem like a sports car on the road. For us 6x guys the DAF YA328 is the answer. The DAF trucks have been in more movies than the pinz. The DAF even made it into a chase seen on Mcgyver.

you know as well as I do if either of us got them on the road we would want to drive them everyday. I am afraid if I got it going I would want to play with it too much and see what it could do offroad, which of course would lead to more breakage and less time in the pinz.
