710K 710M radio equipment manual?

Post by Q »

Does anyone here have a copy of this book/manual for the 710K 710M(radio version)?:

http://www.ricardo.ch/kaufen/sammeln-un ... 678699268/

It seems to have pictures and information about how the radio equipment was installed.
On the same note does anyone have pictures of how the radio equipment was installed inside the radio versions of the 710M?
Thanks.

Here are 3 photos I had in my collection. They are not mine and I don't recall where I got them - sorry.
I do have a set of radio racks from a 710M but have never installed them. I was thinking of using them to hold coolers and other gear.

I've collected a few pictures and there are different layouts. I've seen benches at the front, the rear only and a version with benches on 1 side. Some 710m's have 2 antenna mounts on front and the roof and others only have 1. There are some pictures in my online album and I'll try to put them all there when I'm back at work

Thanks for the responses and PM- mine came with the same setup as shown in pcolette's post with one antenna ("Schiesskdt Funkwagen" I think).

So, this manual describes the 710K and also three different radio versions of the 710M:
(710K) Kommandowagen SE-412/ABC
(710M) Relaiswagen SE-412/AC
(710M) Nachrichtenwagen SE-412/AC/E-627
(710M) Schiesskdt Funkwagen SE-412/A

It also describes all the equipment- interesting, but all in German...

I didn't bid on it (wasn't familiar with the website), but I have now been given a copy by a forum member… I'll send you a 'PM'.

I have a Funkwagen 710M

Description:
-2 storage boxes on the fwd left and right sides, then 1 bench on each side, then a flat rack on the left and a tall rack on the right.
-2 antenna on top,
-VIC-1 with 3 stations, with headsets
-28VDC outlet on the outside, left side, near the tailight/refector
-non-folding center divider
-3 gun rack on left rear

Very similar to McCall's photo in the above post.

The one of the logbooks that came with her shows the modication company's entries and equipment used

pics to follow as soon as the weather gets better.

my idea is to adapt the VIC-1 to use CB and iPod/iPhone. I've seen a few setups over on http://www.steelsoldiers.com
