Are you ever going to use your insurance for off-roading?
If not I don't think it is a problem.
I have hagarty for my truck and when they asked me the question about weather I will use it off road or not I just answered well I will drive it on dirt roads. They acepted that and did not ask anything else.

Watch the terms used... are you "off roading" or trail driving? Pretty much any insurance company can disallow a claim for "off roading". Trail riding is different, and if you do something stupid, they can walk away from a claim too.
With Hagerty, An event "trail ride" would be covered... and that differs by who you ask and how you word it.
I use the insurance for the on road protection, and if off road, I consider myself "self insured" for damaged to my own vehicle.
Probably without exception, every policy has the words "due diligence" which basically means you won't do anything to cause a claim, or they can decline a claim.... wording is everything

What is funny about Hagerty is that you can get different answers to the same basic question. I like to talk to them rather than email, and had a 1300 Mog turned down 3x before accepted. Mostly because it was "too new", yet jumped at a 1995 Defender SW. I've even had them apologize because they didn't have a catagory for something. Knowing that it would initially be turned down, I've primered them for the M1094 , and got a "positive" "declined at this time"...the pictures submitted were in its "delivered" condition, so anything less than a ROFLMAO was positive.
Next month, I'll be resubmitting it, as it should be ready for the road then, and pics showing impressive improvements. I already have plans for a memorial day event and a parade
