I have just bought the truck that Andre had posted and am impatiently waiting on the day that my wife and I can go get it and bring it home to Alabama. We would like to meet some other owners and we are trying to plan our trip. I think the ozarks would be a great place to spend a couple of days enroute back home. If anybody is interested or has some info on the Arkansas ozarks please let me know and maybe we can get something going. Thanks.

As far as the Arkansas Ozarks, there are tons of great places to camp, and a lot of those roads have creek fords and actually require a 4x4. I would suggest Northern Johnson and Southern Newton Counties. I especially like the areas around the Piney Creeks.

It's important to mention that if you are driving a Pinz into the Ozarks, you have to keep it topped off on gas because gas stations are nonexistent once you get out there deep into the Boston mountains. I recommend carrying some jerry cans full if you have them just to get some extra peace of mind.
