I've seen this on ebay before, has anyone checked this 710K out, if so please let me know if it's worth it for me to bid on it.

I don't know thus particular truck; but, I sure would not bid without more pictures. I noticed the rub rails are missing from the right side and the tires look like they need replacement. I would definitely request more pics. If no more are available I would stay away.

There are quite a few for sale recently, so if
you are interested in that one, you have a little
leverage. Search all of Craigslist and you'll
find a few.
There's a 1972 in Humboldt County and some
guy is asking silly prices in Filipi West Virginia.
There's a neglected 710 for 8500 bucks near
Tulsa, and a few on eBay also.

Re: Interested on this one in ebay
I guess it comes down to what you're looking
for? Are you looking for one that's been painted
and upgraded? Or are you looking to do those
things yourself? Personally, I wanted a vehicle
that nobody had screwed up yet. I got one that
had no modifications and looked like it just came
straight from the military. The modifications that
I will make are very conservative by compared to
what some people do.
So, what is it you're looking for?

Re: Interested on this one in ebay
To me the most important part is the mechanical, make sure the engine and transmission are in good shape. The body is next, if it's been repainted that is fine as long as it was done professionally. As minimal an amount of rust as possible, I know that that is impossible. If they did any customizing that is fine as long as I am able to bring it back to the way it looked and functioned while it was still in service. So if they added a few creature comforts that is fine too.Pinz710m2 wrote:I guess it comes down to what you're looking

I am down in here in SE Florida, about 40 miles northwest of Miami and it gets hot and humid here. I was actually thinking of getting the 710K (if I ever find one) painted in Coyote Brown or Tan. Keeps it a little bit cooler and these colors make a good base color also. So, I'll be ok with white or any color.
