I corrupted another one...
A good friend of mine from the Ferrari world was passing through Winston-Salem a few weeks ago and saw my Pinz 710M in the parking lot of my office. I thought he was joking when he offered to buy it on-the-spot, so I didn't take him seriously. Truth be told, mine isn't for sale!
Anyway, I just got a text from him that he pulled the trigger on a 710M of his own. Looks like a roof conversion on this one. Anyone know it? It'll be headed down to Wilmington NC probably in a few weeks:

Yes, that's me! Guilty as charged. I first saw JRR's Pinz on a computer screen back in Oct, it made a hell of an impression but eventually faded with the move from IL to NC I was in the middle of. Then, on one of my trips down in early May, I saw it in person, and the fuse was reignited. I just had to have one! So, after leaving JRR's office, I set off on my 6 hour drive home scouring the internet as I drove (yea, I know) and by the time I pulled in to my town, I had found one in KY, "I might be interested n selling" was all I had to hear.
The owner I purchased mine from is a member here, the perfect kinda guy to buy a vehicle from. A real fan of the Pinz and a great guy all the way around. He took excellent care of this Pinz, was very knowledgeable and refreshingly, very honest! We made the deal, and he delivered exactly what he promised. I just love this thing! It really needs nothing but perhaps, a roof rack which I've been in contact with Andre over.

Nice truck!!!
What a great guy to sell a truck to. Easy to deal with, a gentleman. If not for the gremlin who decided to hex the Pinz's speedo on the trip, it would have been perfect...
Thanks for a smooth deal.

If you locate another one, please let me know. I have been without a speedo for sometime. Even valiant attempts to repair it were to no avail, but not for lack of trying.

Sorry, I only have 1.
Honestly, the speedo is somewhat unnecessary for clocking the rate of travel in a Pinzgauer! I think its only purpose is a cross-check on your fuel gauge, because its got an odometer. My fuel gauge blows.... but the ODO gives me a general sense of how much longer I've got before the jerry can is deployed
