710M for sale in North Carolina, lots of custom work

Post by jpipes »

I am selling my 710M currently located in North Carolina. I have been the sole owner since it was imported into the US. The truck was imported by Expedition Imports in 2006 at which time I purchased it and proceeded to work with them to overhaul and customize the truck. The work was done in 2006 and more work was done in 2008.

In my opinion this is a badass Pinzgauer 710M and one of the better currently available for sale anywhere in the US.

Asking price is $18,500 given all the work and customization that has been done and how wonderful the truck is. If you are in the market and are interested let's talk!! I am flexible.

Truck details:

Expedition Imports completed the following work on this truck:

-Beautiful BFG MTs all around
-Entire truck painted mil spec US DOD flat desert tan, including wheels and underbody areas
-All metals parts door handles, latches, bars, seat rails, roll up top rails, etc powder coated desert tan
-Bumper powder coated then painted over flat desert tan
-Entire truck interior coated with tan rhino liner including cab, engine cover, door panels, side panels, pillars, foot wells, etc! Significantly improves driving experience and noise level besides looking awesome
-New black seats front/rear
-Battery box and tool box both stripped and coated in black rhino liner
-Upgraded rear lights with reverse light
-Upgraded electronic ignition
-Custom driver and passenger removable footsteps
-Replaced all hooks for top with brass
-Inside door panels replaced with powder coated steel plates

And a lot more stuff.

Truck has seen very little off road use and no serious off road use ever. No rock climbing or deep mudding. Mainly used for desert driving when off road. Has never been a daily driver.

Truck is in excellent shape mechanically and runs perfectly. No currently known issues. Driven about 1 or twice every few weeks currently.

Known issues, all cosmetic and minor.

-Front seats are new as of 2006/2008 but could use some fill to bulk up, I was going to replace with Recaro seats but didn't get to it
-Roll up top could use a cleaning, a few spots have been sealed up, a few thin spots, otherwise sound
-Some of the tie downs for the top are getting cracked and worn
-Windows on the roll up top are cracked in a few places and getting cloudy
-Exceedingly minor surface rust on a few spots on the truck entirely due to paint scratches or weathering. Truck was rust free at time of purchase from EI and remains so. All spots will be touched up before purchase and a paint kit with DOD desert tan paint will be included with sale.
-Muffler looks like it could use a sand blasting or replacement in the future, getting a little flakey.
-Some minor marks on the floor of the rear bed due to rhino liner being lighter in color, will be deep cleaned before sale
-One minor spot in rear bed along seating area where fuel spilled and ate through rhino liner. Rhino liner told me they would fix it for free or under $100, I just haven't done so.
-Right side wood bump rail removed, planned to replace with upgraded bump rail but haven't done so.
-Topside antenna mount split/cracked. As a result I took down the tall whip antenna I had mounted, which still comes with truck. Replacement mounts are around $50-$100.
-Crack and repair on the drivers side view mirror mount.

That's it! Can't think of any other issues with the truck as it currently is. It's a fantastic truck all around.

Some recent repairs or maintenance I've done:

-Rebuilt windshield wiper motor
-Replaced axel boots with kits from Pinzgauer shop in Georgia
-Replaced Petronix ignition coil with blue flame ignition coil, works much better and resolved an ongoing idle and starting issue
-Removed, cleaned, and rebuilt carb
-Standard fluid change

Nice looking 710M.

Last time I saw those photos was on TADs site. Did you work for TAD?

Can't tell you how many TAD jackets I own.
