Throwing out a feeler: WTB Volvo, mog, pinz, halflinger, 101

Post by Heyitsmike »

So I'm interested in seeing what's available for trucks in this category. My father and I restored an old c303 a few years ago, and we wound up selling for financial reasons, and now I have a 101fc Land Rover that I'm working on. But we'd like to get into another one. We'd be looking for something probably within the $8000 mark, ideally for something that "runs" but needs work. We're no strangers to fixing weird old things. Another Volvo would be cool, but I'd be interested in whatever's out there!

Thanks in advance!

Theres a decent looking TGB 11 11 on ebay right now. Could be worth checking out.

What's the hole in the passenger side windscreen for? does not appear to have any sort of cover that can be swung round to block it from letting the breeze in....

It would have been where the anti tank rifle would have gone when it was stowed. It's meant to be there (the hole that is)

There should be a plug to go in there, probably don't have one with this truck.

I did wonder if that was what it was for, but would have though there was a cover that was attached to the vehicle, rather than a bung that was just stuffed in the hole!!

You could put a lance though there and play at being a knight!

I am in full support of this truck jousting idea.

I imported a truck from Bacht Int. I am happy with what I got from them.

Looks like they sold the other TGB1111 they had, but have a C303.

Sven Duva has a friend selling a C303 in the Netherlands for 11,000. Email and get pictures, it looks really clean.

He's with the http://www.scaniasba111.se/ which normally sells the larger trucks but has also sold C303's and TGB 1111's.
