I am selling my 1973 Pinz 710M which I just finished restoring. When I bought this Pinz it was in excellent solid shape, but like any other 1973 Pinz there was plenty of work that needed to be done to get it to the level its at. So here's what I've done.
The areas that had rust issues when I bought this Pinz were on the undercarriage and bed. I had all rust areas wire wheeled down to metal or replaced the metal with new metal and welds (I have the before pictures). Then the metal was coated with "Rust Destroyer" by Advanced Protective Products, then sprayed. I then had entire exterior professionally Raptor lined in OD Green (similar to Rhino lining but better IMO). I also Raptor lined in black the rear bed interior, the rear seat frames, the engine cover and 4x4 faceplate. The rear seat covers were reupholstered with marine grade black vinyl. I put a heavy duty rubber mat on the bed floor. I replaced the rear light with LED's, but I still have the originals which will come with the vehicle. I put 5 brand new tires on it, Thunderer M/T 285/75/16 with Tire Tubes, mounted and balanced. New wooden side rails with 5 coats of polyurethane. ALL new fluids (Engine, Trans, Transfer case, Brakes). New Steering Stabilizer. I had to put in a new Front Axle which was costly (the original one stripped within the first week of me owning it). The fuel tank was dropped and had all seals replaced cause when i got it it was leaking when the gas was filled to the top. The tank itself is in excellent shape and did not have any corrosion inside. The original airplane engine and carbs are in excellent shape, fires right up and runs strong. 4 wheel drive and locking front/rear diff's all work perfectly. Headlights, taillights, flashers, windshield wipers all in perfect working order. The top is in great shape but did have a few small tears which were repaired and does not leak any water even in hard rain. I did have to replace the square antenna gasket because that was leaking but fixed now. I believe the Axe and shovel are the originals and I cleaned them up. I have all 4 original Tire Chains.
It has a clear street legal FL title. I have it registered as an Antique. I have most of the original paperwork that came with the vehicle, as well as all service logs from the Swiss Military.
I can email several photos. PM me if interested.
