The project 710K Begins.

Build projects, things that guys have come up with to make a Pinz better (or worse?) and aftermarket add-ons.

The only issue I see is the exhaust pipe in that location. It looks like there is just enough room to squeeze it in. I will see as the project develops. If I want more spare fuel, adding two more cans on the back would net 20 gal. The question is, how much is enough?
Here are a few photos of K fuel and water can placement as food for thought. I’ve been running a second underbody NATO can on the driver’s side for 7–8 years now without issue.

A few caveats, though:
  1. Rock crawling is not the primary mission of my Pinz.
  2. The exhaust is routed down and away from the can to make room for it.
  3. The can is housed in an exoskeleton/guard that also doubles as a step into the K doors.
That looks terrific. I will get a hold of Fat Fabrications tomorrow. I understand the shop is still working.

Jim

To clarify, Andre Swanson fab'd the winch mount and K door steps and Billy Beddow @ 3saurus co-designed/fab'd the tire+fuel carrier.

Thank you for the clarification. I have a can holder coming from SAV. We will see what I can cook up with my wire feed welder.
