Truck won't start

Post by ziegler »

She started yesterday, ran for about 10 seconds then stopped. I tried to start her up again but she just cranks. Any suggestions are welcome. Thank you. ZIg.

as stated above,
and to be sure fuel reaches the combustion chamber, remove the air intake, depress the accelerator, you should see/smell fuel being injected.
Then if ok, check you have sparks on your plugs by removing one and grounding the thread, (google this if you are not familiar with this procedure).

...also, check fuses/breakers.
Check that the shutoff solenoids at the carb bases are powered. A wire could have failed

The Pinz is a simple caveman engine. You need spark and something for the spark to ignite (gasoline vapors).
