Glygoyle ???

Hi all,

This is another hub oil related question.
The oil suggested by the factory for the turbodiesel Pinz hubs is Mobil
Glygoyle 30. It appears that that oil is a top grade carter gear
lubricant for extreme pressure and heat industrial applications; also,
it offers outstanding rust protection.
But - it is tremendously expensive !!!
Does it offer any REAL advantage on an automotive grade 75W90 or 80W140
gear oil? Is it advisable to use it on a gas Pinz?

On the other side - can an automotive grade gear oil be used on a TD
Pinz instead of the Mobil Glygoyle 30?

Thanks,

Ugo

Hello Ugo
Glygoyle30 is Gearoil sae 240 and it is full syntetic.it was used to upgrade the service intervall. You can also use Gearoil GL5 , sae80, sae 90 ( for summer) or 75w90 all times.
