Oil Pan

Post by STPPINZ »

Just dropped the oil pan to replace the gasket and was pleasantly suprised to see that there was mniimal to no "sludge" in the pan. I was just woundering if there is anything I could do as prevenitive maintenance work while the pan is off. The only other small concern is that the tyvek like coating that coats the inside of the pan is peeling off in a couple of spots. Kind of minor but just woundering if it's that big of deal. All in all looks great though.

STPPINZ....Just stick your hand up in there, grab and wiggle whatever you can reach. If theres no wiggle don't worry about it. If you can see it with a flashlight you could check out the worm gear for the distributor. Thats all I can think of.
