Aux heater not working?

Post by Colorado Ron »

I have a 710k with a heater behind drivers seat. Either Im a total moron or its not working. I never fired it up since I bought it(guess I should have checked it out). I pull the BN 4 switch and nothing. Ive tried it with key on and off and pulled only out the first click, and the second. Ive pulled whats looks to be the choke on the heater and nothing. Am I missing somthing here?

It was working the last time I tried it just before you bought it from the Irishman.

I suggest you give us a call on Monday and we can run through the wiring for you. Have a fax machine handy for a diagram.

Hello

Have you checked the fuse. There is a fuse inline from the box (under table) to the heater. It might be difficult to find. Follow the wires as they go across the engine cover. You should find a heavy black wire with one of those "cam-lock" fuse holders. It's a pretty heavy fuse, so if it's blown, look for some electrical problems.
