Tire & Wheel Info

Post by STPPINZ »

So, I know this has been brought up many, many times but another question for me has come up. Who is running 305/70/16? The only differance from the 285/75/16 is width. Does the .60 inches in width really help? And how does it hold on the Pizza Cutter Pinz Wheels? I ran the 285/75/16 BFG MT's on my 710 and I would blow beads at any PSI under 18. There was on trip to Canyonlands that I blew 3 beads in one weekend. If the 305/70/16 holds, the extra width would be nice.

Any thoughts...

Im not to worried about the problem now with a 712 and not really having to air down that much, but If I could run a wider tire I will. Just some thoughts being Im almost ready for some new rubber.
