Just a heads up that I have comissioned some more stator rewinds for alternator uprates for limited quantity delivery.
These will be built into reconditioned Bosch units giving out a rated 55amps and ready within the month.

Hi Dennis,
Do you have a price on them available yet?
Thanks,
Paul

The price projection is about $450 a pop for a rebuilt exchange unit containing the upgraded stator.
Price is very much dependant upon quantities. Due to the limited amounts of stators available the price is dictated by limited numbers.

Hi Denny,
And what might be the price if I provided a complete alternator? I am
asking for the price of the rebuild and the stator rewind.
Best regards,

If you notice guys, it says $450.00" exchange"
The question should be will the stator be available by itself, and if so how much(exchange of course)?

Gents
That is the price rebuilt with a rewound stator, reg, bearings etc. Then runup on a bench tester and load proved. Basically so that the smoke don't come out.

I have the first one back of this batch.
Rated at 70 amps on the test bed, I am ready to do a function test on a truck to prove their worth at this rating.
Three guys have first dibs, I will have more ready soon providing I can get cores.

Dennis, I am going to Lake Placid this weekend, and could get the alt off and send it to you. How long does it take, or do you exchange? I was trading emails with Pat from Alaska recently. Did he ever come by? He is interested in the Rancho Shock like you put in mine. Jamey

The best way to do it is by exchange since I am forced to charge $350 core charge.
The change out is as usual mechanically BUT you will need and hour or so of extra time to install a new wiring sub harnness from the alternator to the starter B+ve post. This is included at no extra charge and has full instructions on how to do it.
Reason:- Simple, with the "umpff" of AMPS that puny Molex connector and the 14 guage wires don't stand a chance in hell of handling that level of current. It would let the smoke out in short order!.
Let me know if you want one by contacting me by Email or phone

I am being swamped with orders and too few cores to get upgraded. You are third on my list. I have another batch in next week I will contact you once I have one for you and the sub kit made up.
Cheers mate
