Well I have owned my 712 for a little more than a year and the front tires (original Maloyas) are showing signs of cupping.
1. Is this a sign of a bad alignment?
2. If so, is it possible to get the front end aligned?
3. If this is not a sign of a bad alignment could it be a sign of tires that are out of balance? I have noticed a buzzing sound that occurs as I reach 80 kph and goes away as I pass through 85 kph.
I have rotated the tires; front to back, back to middle, middle to front.
I also did not see any signs of tire weights when I rotated the tires.
I do plan on a set of new tires soon but I would learn a little more so that the new tires get the longest life possible.
Thanks for the help

Tire Cupping
Nothing says four wheel drive like six wheel drive.
Sounds like a balance issue. If you invest in new tires, definitely find a way to get them balanced for the longest life.
I need to get mine in soon to get them all balanced. Thanks to a fellow Pinz owner in town our Big-O has a lug-centric adpater for their balancer.
I'm sure though with the severe camber angles, due to the suspension design, tires will never wear all that well on these things.
The rocks are taking their toll on mine, as well.

Tire Cupping
Probably not alignment, just the fact that the tires tend to lean out from the top, (off camber and normal when empty), I recently "flipped" my TSL's back in Feburary to let the former inside edge get some wear, was not cheap since I use Inovative Balancing Media and they had to carefully deflate and remove the tires, so as not to lose the media, getting real nice wear now and no out of balance problems at all.
