E/A Track Seat Belts

Hi All

I need to get some lap belts for E/A track, the only issue is they need to have either AUS/NZ, UK, European or SA compliance information (except US???) on the label. Does anyone know where I can get something that fits the bill? If anyone has got any of these type of belts would you mind looking at the tags and tell me what safety compliance info is on them.

Hi Sam,

I've been working on this with our vendor and here is what we have come up with. The e-track fittings have no problem being rated/documented by Kinedyne. The seat belt buckles themselves are rated to meet aircraft standards. The webbing has ratings. The fly in the ointment is the complete assembly. Our vendor is telling us that the DOT approval process to officially rate these is at least $1000 and once rated will have a direct impact on their liability insurance. (They already build DOT rated tow straps, ratchet straps, etc., that they are willing to cover the ongoing liability costs on these due to the quantities sold. However, they are not likely to want to cover these belts due to the low quantities.) They were more than willing to increase the per unit costs to cover there expenses...but that would impact everyone here.

Waiting for more information from our vendor when we meet on Thursday.

Thanks for the reply I would really like to get the belts from you as they look to be better quality than the ones I can get here and they are quite a bit cheaper too.
