Found another Pinz owner up here

Post by Jerbearyukon »

He has the 710M - he has some other military vehicles too. Not sure if he will let me put his name on here so I will let him..I think he lurks in the shadows and late at night he comes out to ride his pinz in the cover of darkness with the black lights on   just kidding but would make a great story.

He hasn't driven it in the winter so I guess I will have to wait for spring to get him out with me...it will be fun though :D .

Jer, I looked at a map today and realized what an epic journey you made in your new Pinz. I really didn't relate how far north you really are. No wonder it's cold. Santa Clause must live south of you. Your story was great, but it didn't convey the real length of that trip. Awesome feat.

Maybe your new friend doesn't use the 710M in winter because of the cold. Could be another webasto customer for Dennis.

Yep it was a long journey, but tons of fun too. Like I say I met lots of very nice people on the way.

Yeah we are so far north we have "southern lights"

Two seasons also - Winter and poor sledding.

Pinz up here:

Well I think with a canvas top there are real draw backs in cold climates. Also you weatherstripping better be good - I remember on the way to Rawlins that cross wind was coming in right at my kidney area through teh latch piece...had to stuff a pillow down there to stay warm
