I have that bumper and Warn 9000 winch. It is a great setup but does add a bit of weight to the front. It drops the front about 1.5 inches with me in it.
What would I have to do to regain the clearance?

Hi Morris, et al,

We just spent a lot of time working on a number of variations of front ride height/impact of our winch and bumper, etc. The winch and bumper combined adds about 160-170 lbs to the front of the truck. On a 710M with NEW front factory coils, this will drop the front end by approximately 3/4" of an inch. If your exisitng coils are a little weak it will definitely drop it more.

We just finished testing a set of custom engineered front coils designed to counteract the winch/bumper and keep a factory ride height.....the spring company is currently taking another shot at it as we did not get the performance/fit that we needed. Eventually, one it is dialed in, we should be able to offer a set of coils for about $275 a pair that will keep the stock suspension characterisitics with the added weight/lever of a winch and bumper.

Cheers,

Scott Ingham

Thanks Scott,
If they come in by the time I get there in June I would like to get a pair (springs) from you. Along with the other stuff for the engine conversion.
