pinz hardtops photos?

Post by ka »

i'm looking for pix of any pinz hardtops, as high res as possible, to aid me in the desiogn of the roof i need to create for my 710m. i'm sure drawings or models are too much to hope for but no biggie - pix or ideas of any kind would be wonderful.

i'm also i need of ideas and resources for making the windshield taller, like so many pinz camers i've seen.

Raising the windshield

Post by texas pinzgauer »

The Pinzgauer dealer in San Antonio, Texas does a windshield extension where it apparently adds a bunch of headroom. The photos on their website show this modification quite clearly.

Drop them a line.

yes, i've been looking at that. i'd like to keep the lower extend of the windshield as low as it already is, tho. doors, too. it would be nice to find a pinz camper windshield somewhere.

You can check my pix on the Yahoo Pinz Site; "Toms 712M"

I had a local welder build this CabTop for my pinz, I will have a truck body builder build me a removable box for the rear of my 712M.
I want to have the ability to remove the rear camper box when I need a pickup truck. Have already used it to haul a pallet of retaining wall blocks, 3000 lbs! No problem even on the steepest grade going home!

Google Pinz Camper - there are a lot of hardtops out there, and some interesting designs recently.
