can somebody tell me how far before the mark on the pully do i set the timing too thanks !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :?

I don't remember how it measures along the pulley. try to find a timing light and set it using that. you can run a regular 12v timing light off of the back battery without any problems. if you search for "timing" there are lots of threads and a few different theories about how far to advance it. I used Jake's settings and it runs great, but seems a little longer to start.

do i have to make a mark on the pully ? how do i measure it how many degrees?

there's a mark on the pulley that is Top Dead Center. I bought a digital timing light and it shows the degrees without using a mark- 27 degrees total advance AFAIK.
I'm at work, but have a manual handy :o It says "ignition timing at cold engine 1-3mm AFTER TDC, measured at warm engine 0-2mm before TDC" I don't like setting timing that way though, so I don't know much about that method.
