Seeking new UK Insurer.

Post by cronapress »

I will be giving my present insurer the Golden Boot Award as I've just noticed my premium has jumped up a lot for no reason. No claims, no points on licence and no explanation.

What companies are other UK Pinz owners with ?

Fully comp. cover with mileage restriction (5000m) sole driver - they want £197.67p ! It was £140 (?) last year.

The company ...... Adrian Flux.

Thanks.

Mike.

I just had a quote from Footman James for £119 per year fully comp, no restriction on mileage, BUT...I am 52 with a licence for 30 odd years and the vehicle will be locked behind gates and in a garage. I did hear that Footman James had merged with Adrian Flux, but had then been taken over by a larger concern??? (forgot to mention that was contingent on me joining the MVT - Military Vehicle Trust.)

I got a massive discount through being an MVT member - more than covered the cost of joining the club!

I've just re-insured with Adrian Flux - £153 fully-comprehensive with unlimited mileage.

I am a MVT member.

It seems slightly cheaper than last year but I have stripped out all of the extras they like to add.
