I was going through my pinz file double checking a few things when I came a cross this?

What does it say?

I was told by my German neighbor that is for when you park. You set the hour on the card and put in a visible place so the LEO can tell how long you have been there.

There may be another reason but that really made sense to me. I have one of those also.

yeah, it says "arrival time". its for parking at the blue zone.

Leave it to you Erik... You're probably the only one the Swiss will send a bill for unpaid parking tickets. :lol: :lol:
Definately don't ask anything about the overdue Swiss library book you found it in :roll: :wink:

But they'll probably let you keep the handicap placard :lol:

Funny that one of these cards ended up in Wichita, Kansas...

Parking in Swiss cities sucks (especially in Geneva :evil: ), as the authorities try to convince people to use public transportation by making it a living hell to drive and park a private car... Having you "declare" your arrival time in parking spots with a time limit with this card is an alternative to meters...

At some point a guy designed one version of this card with a cheap clock mechanism, supposedly to save you the time of adjusting... but in the end most people use it illegaly so that the disk continues to turn and always shows an arrival time within the limit...
