Hi guys, I am busy with a clucth job on my Pinz. 250ft/lbs seems a bit high for the flywheel bolts??? (I took the flywheel off to replace the deep grove end bearing.)

Yes deal with it is the maxim.

Put in another way torque to 22lbs ft mark the bolt head with a paint stick/white out, then turn ONE FLAT. You will end up at the same torque after putting the bolts into stretch.

I usually put two of the clutch pressure plate bolts into any two consecutive holes, jam a 3/8th long socket extension between them and the gearbox mounting stud, then bring a 1/2 Snappy knuckle bar & 21mm (7/8ths) socket to bear.
You will feel them go into stretch--feels like a rubber bolt!
Charles Atlas course perhaps

Short and sweet, thanks guys.
250ft lbs would be 338Nm...
