Worrying clunk from steering box

My steering box, which is leaking slightly, had a lot of play which I've adjusted out. However, I noticed that there is a loud "click" when I turn the wheel, which I think it coming from the steering box. The adjustment also seems to be at the end of its travel. Can the grub screw be replaced with a socket ended one as trying to turn a flat blade screwdriver in that confined space is a little difficult?

So is it a "click" or a "clunk?" I solved my leak and clunk problem before by rebuilding the steering gear box. Kits are available and it's pretty straight forward if you don't replace the pressed-in brass bushings.
I actually had a broken steering shaft!

It's a loud "click" - the steering play adjuster is more or less at the end of travel. Where can I get kits from? Should probably top up the oil in it anyway

Have you checked the stiffener arm that's attached to the steering gear box? It's the short rod under the diamond plate floorboard.
This has solved a steering clunk for me before... they do loosen up!
