I'm giving some thought to picking up Kirby's 712. He;s also selling a trailer as an option.
I'm aware of shipping companies that will ship the Pinz here, but what are my options if I want the pinz and trailer? Would someone tow it? Is it significantly more expensive?
options for getting a 712 and trailer, AZ to DC?

You will undoubtedly pay for two vehicles but shipper may give you a slight discount because he has two vehicles going to one location which means less time, distance, and work. As it stands it is a difficult feat to get a shipper that will want to pickup a pinz merely due to the size, and weight..and in your case the extra axle is a detriment..not to say it cant be done but get ready for the blank stares and confused faces when you tell them you want a Pinz moved. PM me if you would like the contact numbers of a good brokerage firm that has shippers that actually know what Pinzes are and will ship them. I suffered through weeks of agony trying to get my pinz picked up from indiana, I fired 3 shipping companies who promised pickup and then didnt deliver..excuse after excuse..finally I found a good and honest company..within 3 days it was at my door.
life is like a box of chocolates...you never know which one you might get
