Help in exporting a 710

Post by Piscis »

I have acquired a 710m in San Diego, California and I need to export it to Costa Rica. Does anyone know a reputable forwarder in or near San Diego that can take care of this for me? What paperwork is necessary for the export permit? It is urgent that I solve this matter and I don't want to travel there unnecessarily, but will if I must. All input will be appreciated very much, thank you.

You will need the support of the current titled owner. As long as the existing title holder is the exporter of record their should be no problems. If the seller is not willing to help, you need to title the vehicle into your name first, then export it.

No export permit is required on the U.S. side, however make sure that their are no requirements on the import side on your end.
