Ft Collins Colorado

Post by matthewc66 »

I live in San Diego County now but may be relocating to Ft Collins Colorado.

I will keep my house in San Marcos but will probably bring my Pinz with me to Colorado.

Any Pinz owners in Colorado and are there any Pinz mechanics in CO?

Just trying to plan ahead..

Thanks for any info..

There are tons of Pinzgauers in Colorado. This state seems to be made for them!
I live in a town of 2,000 residents and there are about seven (private and commercial tour trucks). I have seen a bunch on the front range.

And as luck would have it there will be a gathering of them in late July.

Most of the officers from the SWPA (southwest pinzgauer association) will be attending this year along with myself.

Great group of guys and I know of at least one pinz owner in Fort Collins already and he frequents this board

I should know in about a week whether I will be moving up there.

Once I know I will send out another message and try and hook up with some people.

Also, if anyone knows of a great Pinz mechanic I would trailer it a couple of hours if need be.

I get confused putting lug nuts on so I needs someone I can trust.

Mechanics aren't my thing..

Never sold. I love the thing. I take it in and out of storage because I dont have the garage room anymore.

If I go to Colorado I will have it shipped to me along with everything else as I am thinking the storage places are cheaper up there.

I just redid all the windows of the soft top so it looks pretty sharp..

Good to hear from you.
