G-wagen of 2025?

Post by McCall Pinz »

Eeegad, what were they thinking with the future g-wagen concept? Is this the rig to go looking for the few remaining Twinkies in the year 2025?

Side view looks very Toyota 4runner to me. I think the front is just a little much but other than that it looks like a decent SUV.

Short windows will limit visibility. I already own a vehicle (my 710k) that I have to dip my head to see stoplights etc. this is what turned me away from the H2, H3 and new Toyota FJ. Are all the design engineers 5’4”? At least Jeep is still making a vehicle that allows nice visibility.

At 6”2” I can’t count the number of recent vehicles I find uncomfortable to drive or simply can’t sit in.

The current/old G has probably the best view I have seen in a 4x4. This looks awful.

My first one, back in '99, was bought by a guy who was 6,8 and 300+ lbs. He said it was the only SUV on earth he could fit in. Even then the door closed and squeezed his knee to the steering wheel.

Starting from the bottom up...I like the tires. That's where it stops. This belongs in a Mad Max movie.
