I like it in the sense that it's an inline six and a convertible.

I think he should share his secret with us on the inline six. It would be one of the only engine swaps that fit without modification to the body in any way including a radiator.

I agree totally. An excellent choice for a second vehicle, even if slightly molested!I'll take the unmolested Pantera for the same price..
For several years, I've found the Pantera to be the perfect compliment to a Pinz. They are both vehicles which are off one end of the practicality scale. One is great at going slow and off-road, and the other is great at going fast on-road. They're both a blast to drive, and they are both impractical as hell for "normal" driving. They both get stunning gas mileage, and they both attract way too much attention. They both have carburetors, and they both lack computers! Lastly and least importantly, they both start with a "P".
