710M in war zones...

Post by OhioPinz »

Found two photos of 710Ms in Bosnia. One has light armor added. These are the only photos I have found. Just thought it was interesting.

Thanks. I like the grenade launcher, too.

What armored car is that next to the Pinz in the top photo?

interesting that it has upper armor but nothing for IED's under it. When I was over in country for the first middle east war, 20+ years ago, everything had under armor.

French Panhard VBL. These are awesome: diesel, 4x4, armored, and fully amphibious.

This isn't in the Middle East, this is Bosnia. Very little IED activity and you're NEVER going to retro-armor and softskinned vehicle enough for that kind of protection anyway.

Hey, forget forums for that other mundane stuff.
Lets concentrate on something practical, you know, daily driver type of thing.
I want a forum (and place) to get these!
(I'm going to play the video's music out the back when I drive my Pinz.)

Panhard CRAB:
(Probably makes more sense to replace the turret with a ski rack- watch out, Range Rover Evoque.)
