Does this mean that there will be another massive surplus sell-off of Pinzgauers?

Unfortunately not...Twin Pinzies wrote:Does this mean that there will be another massive surplus sell-off of Pinzgauers?
The Swiss replaced Pinzies years ago with G-wagens (230 gasoline engines / "Puch" badged) and Unimogs with Duros. The last Pinz version in the Swiss army was the 712 Ambulance, which has now been replaced with Duros as well.
Now they are replacing the first batches of Puch-badged Gs with the new ones, so the new Gs entering service should just mean more older Gs being sold.
About "massive", in our post-cold war world, nothing will be sold in numbers matching what we had with the Pinz, and it won't be through public auctions.

If they do end up getting sold off to the US, or even Canada let us know!
