Hub Steps

I know this has been covered a bunch, but nothing recently.
The last post I read suggested CWR as the only source for
hub steps, but it seems to me I saw them somewhere else.
There was a set with treading welded on, for extra traction.

What is the best source for hub steps these days? Or ...
again ... am I best off making my own?

Although I have the CWR flavor and a set
of Helicopter hub pick up's rare and not good
as a step.

Talk to Andre, he supplied the set on my Pinz and I couldn't be happier. Whatever you do stay away from CWR unless you like to throw money away.

I followed Morris' advice and mine have been going strong since.

I've made the hub steps made from floor flange and pipe nipple and have had them for years. Made them for about $8 in parts from Home Depot. Put non skid on them and drilled a hole through the end and use a phillips screwdriver to spin them off if I am going to be in rocks.



I know everyone is all in a tizzy about spending upwards of $125 for parts for their pinz but these have done well for me for years.

I bought a set from CWR. I haven't installed them yet, but they look great, and he had them in stock. He even included neoprene gaskets to be sure of proper fitment. I'll post pics if anybody wants.
